Orkney Blide Trust is a community based mental health charity (the only dedicated mental health charity in Orkney).

Anyone in our community can contact us for mental health support including thoughts of suicide or support following a suicide attempt.

The Blide Trust also delivers the Orkney DBI service (Distress Brief Intervention).

We also support people who have been bereaved by suicide.

Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Everyone in the Orkney community aged 16 and above (if the person has left school), or 18 and above are able to access our services.

We also have a specific service for care experienced Young people age 16 to 30 years.

People can self-refer or be referred from statutory or third sector organisations.

Our services are free of charge.
